Children for First Holy Communion & Confirmation
For children attending schools where the Alive-O series is not followed, it has been our practice over the past number of years to invite enrolment each October in the Parish Programme and organize classes for the subsequent months. As you know, the notification is published in advance in the parish newsletter and non-parish schools are also informed. We are very appreciative of the efforts which the children and their parents make in preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation. We have found that their involvement in the Do This in Memory liturgies in Saint Paul's Church has been very positive.
First Holy Communion Day for the children taking part in our Parish Programme is celebrated each year on a designated Sunday in May, with Mass celebrated in Saint Paul's Church. Every effort will be made on our part to involve the children and their families in this special occasion so as to reflect the significance of this moment in their lives.
