As Fr. Norman prepares to move to Taghmon Parish, we thank him for his dedicated ministry among us over the past six years.
Parishioners are warmly invited to a celebration in the Community Centre on Saturday 4th July following the 6.00 p.m. Mass to thank Fr. Norman and wish him every blessing in his new appointment.
Since arriving from Rome as a deacon in 2019 and being ordained in 2020, Father Norman has served our parish with generosity, kindness, and pastoral care.
We are especially grateful for his ministry to the sick, the housebound, hospital patients, and nursing home residents, his dedication to the sacraments of healing, and his chaplaincy work in St. Brigid's Special School, Sacred Heart Special School and St. Kenny's National School, as well as his contribution to our Parish Catechetical Programme.
While Fr. Norman is leaving our parish, he remains within our Pastoral Area, and we look forward to continuing our close cooperation with Taghmon in the years ahead.
