Next week many students begin their Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate examinations on June 3rd . We keep them in our prayers, asking God to grant them calmness and confidence.
Prayer for those sitting exams:
Lord, you are my friend and you are with me today and always.
You have blessed my life with many gifts and talents.
As the exams approach I feel nervous so I pray for your peace.
Calm my mind so that I can think clearly and write down what I know.
Help me to remember what I have learned and to do my best.
Lord, your loving presence surrounds me and I believe you have a plan for my life.
Help me to trust that you will guide me. Amen.

We warmly invite all parishioners to join us for the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 7th at the 12:30pm Mass in the Cathedral.
Following the celebration of the Eucharist, there will be a Eucharistic Procession through part of the town of Mullingar, accompanied by the boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion this May.
After the procession, everyone is welcome to enjoy some light refreshments from the ice cream van and coffee van outside the Cathedral.
Let us come together as a community to honour the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and celebrate this special feast with joy and faith.
New route this year
The procession will leave the Cathedral and will move onto Bishopsgate Street, then move down Mary Street, turning left onto Pearse Street, then turning left onto Castle Street and then left again onto Bishopsgate Street, moving back up towards the Cathedral, concluding with Benediction.

The Bishop of Meath, Most Rev. Tom Deenihan, has issued a new Pastoral Letter on the future of parish life in our diocese. This letter reflects on what it means today to belong to a parish community, and how each parish is called to be a place of welcome, faith, and mission. We encourage all parishioners to read the letter, reflect on it, and pray for the future of our parish family. You can download it here:
